I worked for many different companies, usually as book keeper. That period was very important for me because I was given an opportinity to create my own business style and also knowledge about main economic position in our country.

Now, I am working for HVB Bank like Account Manager. This is something new for me, and it is very challenging. My job is hard, fulfillding and responsible at the some time. It will give you chance for upgrading, if your work gets hight marks by the Branch Manager. I work in the ''IMLEK'' A.D. Valjevo company that is a part of the biggest agrobysiness system in Serbia, called Danube Food Group. This system, a new brand in our country consists of many different parts of our industry such as Knjaz Milos from Arandjelovac, Banat from Vrsac, Bambi from Pozarevac...

My Company has got about 1200 people who work there, but unfortunately many of them can become unemployed. In my oppinion, the company started to grow very quickly after many important changes in our society. I take part in the quality control from farms to the Dairy, in rural parts of our country. I check up on our farmers, give them advice how to take care of cattle, how to produce much better quality of milk, and I am responsible for development of farms and making business much more profitable.

Sometimes, my job is very stressful and difficult, but sometimes I enjoy it, which helps me survive between all these awkward situations, problems and people who do not like me and my company.

As a consultant for economic relations in the Regional Chamber of Economy of Valjevo, I am responsible to the Managing Board and Secretary.

My main focus is on monitoring and analysing foreign trade, economic policies and conditions in the business sector. It is the 28th April, the day between two holidays, 27th the day of non-existent state Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the 29th - Great Friday. It is one of fine days when all people celebrate these days and enjoy travelling, sports events, spring, natural beauties as well as preparing for Easter. In fact, the majority of companies, institutions, schools in Serbia connected these days in a small vacation. It seems we are one of rare institutions that have a workday during the holiday. I am not being fair. I should not mind the Fair of SMEs and entrepreneurs of Kolubara County economy SPREG II. But can you tell me how many institutions, chambers and companies are working today? Evidently, The Regional Chamber of Economy gave its support to the organisation of SPREG. So, today is not a usual day. I am facing a busy day. I am somewhat earlier at the office than usual, before 7,00. After the first coffee, we gather to discuss all details at once, the rules for every team member.We have the following schedule:- Business meeting between delegations from Kraljevo Region and Valjevo Region at11.00- Financial conference "How to finance development of SME s" with participation of representatives from: Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency, Agency for Development of SMEs, Guarantee Fund, Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the Ministry of Economy and the banks: Exim, Pro credit, National Bank Saving Bank, Vojvodjanska Bank and USAID-IRD.We expect a great number of participants. Before the meeting, we check materials, information, printed identification cards,...My task is to organise and control the second meeting, that takes place in the music hall. Companies are specially interested in financing, how to establish business, new tax regulations, terms of crediting, condition in business and achievements, the measures of economic policy that the Government intend to adopt. I am hurrying with coallegues to school, at 12,00. The guests are slowly coming, and so are representatives of companies.We strive to ensure all lectures, and meeting of company representatives. It is really a good occasion to put questions and hear new things.The audience is listening to the lectures with great interest, only mobiles of some forgetful owners are interrupting the work. I feel that everything is all right. Lecturing and presentations take place from 01.00 to 2.30 PM. I think the companies are satisfied. All participants, about 90 persons, are going away to the Fair.I am so glad the things have passed quite well. So, I think that next year it would be good for me to enjoy a trip with my family and friends.

Every day I get up at 6.00 in the morning and go to work by car or by bus. My company is far from my flat so I spend about 15 minutes for travelling. Sometimes I get up earlier when I go to the country, and check farms and producers of milk.

I work in a dairy company whose name is IMLEK and I am responsible for the quality of milk and production of milk on farms, as an officer for cattle breeding. I also give advice to farmers woh they can improve their work. Sometimes it is good work, but sometimes it is not, because most of the people do not like to do all things that I must tell them. They think it is not important to clear up the mess and keep their enviroment much cleaner. Since we do not have a good quality of milk yet, we have many problems with sanitary inspection and unfortunately sometimes we can find water in milk.

We are collecting about 53.000 l. of milk at the moment, from our countryside, freeze it and then transport to Belograde.This year we are planning to produce more than 18.000.000 l of milk in order to make a bigger profit. If we do not succeed in that, many of us could be fired.

Every day I get up at 6.00 in the morning and go to work by car or by bus. My company is far from my flat so I spend about 15 minutes for travelling. Sometimes I get up earlier when I go to the country, and check farms and producer of milk. I work in a dairy company that name is IMLEK and I respond for a quality of milk and production of milk on farms, as an officer for cattle breading, and I give advices to the farmers how they can inpruve their work. Sometimes it is good work but sometimes it is not besause most of the people do not like to do all things that I must say them. They think is not important to clean up the mess and keep their enviroment much cleaner. Dear Friends,

I want to describe one of my (not so lucky) days at work.
Well, last Friday I had a terrible day at work. The night before I had got a sore throat and a cough and when the morning came I had to go to work. All day I was absolutely exhausted.

Actually, I have to describe my office and the atmosphere in it. There are six of us (employees), who do different jobs. A lot of loud voices, laughing, noise, telephones (four) allways ring, five of my colleagues smoke and everywhere is smoke from cigarettes. It is like a stock-market!!!

So, I tried to finish all my tasks quickly and asked my director to go home.
I made some phone calls to our clients, to different courts and read my mail. I also took a few proceedings against the Bank's debtors, because I have to resort to court to request the Bank's money, when I can't persuade them to pay back the money. It's easy - at first you must be polite to them and demand the money with a smile on your face; but, at the end a legal action is the only way to achieve yours aims! Well, I have to assure bank's interests.

Finally, when the afternoon came I asked my director to let me go home . She gave me permision and my colleague drove me home in his car, because I didn't have enough strength for walking.

My day at college is dificult to describe because it’s never like other days. However, this is what usually happens: I am always late for lectures, but I am not the only one, everybody is late, including the professors. Of course, we have lessons and they are interesting, we have a good programme to get skills which are important for our future jobs. Professors sometimes organise a small and interesting excursions (we have visited a few Serbian companies and some foreign companies) My group is not big and people are not very sociable, but I have a few friends and I readily spend my time with them.When we have a break, we usually go to the club and relax with coffee. In three weeks we are going to finish with lessons and I think I will miss all of it.

They think that is not important to clean up the mess and keep their enviroment much more cleaner. Because we do not have a good quality of milk jet, we have many problems with sanitary inspection and unfortynatelly sometimes we can faund watter in milk.

We are collecting about 53.000 l. of milk at the moment, from our countryside, frizze it and transports to the Belograde.This year we are planning to produce more than 18.000.000 l of milk because we have to make bigger profit and keep our works.

I have my first coffee, and watch, on the company`s net, the report about events from the previous day (breakdowns, cut-offs, and shutdowns in our electric power system). The information from that report and the weekly plan determines our tasks for today. In addition, I check the weather forecast on the Internet because the weather conditions have an effect on our daily plan.
At quarter past seven I have a briefing session with work team foremen on the tasks from the previous day, and remaining tasks for today. After that we make a brief analysis of the necessary materials, tools and vehicles, and when they complete all preparations they set out to do the work.
In the repair season, this part of day is the most difficult, because I have a lot of information in short time (some thirty minutes).
After that I have one more quiet coffee break and I think about the remaining tasks for today:
- making the plan for next week
- visiting the Technical Fair in Belgrade
- agreement with inspector about the control of one 110 kV overhead line
In the meantime I have several calls from my director - he has a lot of questions and many remarks.

In the period of repair this part of day is the most difficult, because I have a lot of information in short time (some thirty minutes).
After that I have one more tranquil coffee and I think about remaining tasks for today:
- making the plan for next week
- visiting the technique’s fair in Belgrade
- agreement with inspector about control one 110 kV overhead line
In the meantime I have several calls of my director he has a lot of questions and many remarks.

It is the 28th April, the day between two holidays, 27th the day of non-existent state SRJ and the 29th the Great Friday. It is one of fine days when all people celebrate these days and enjoy in travelling, sport events, in spring, in natural beatues as in preparing for Easter.In fact, majority of companies, institutions, schools in Serbia connected these days in short holidays.
It seems we are one of rare institutions that have a workday on holidays.I am not well.I should not mind the Faire of SMEs and enrepreneurs of Kolubara County economy SPREG II. But can you tell me how much institutions, chambers and companies work today? Evidently, Regional Chamber of economy gave the support the organisation of SPREG. So, today isn t usual day.I am facing a busy day.
I am somewhat early in office than usually, before 7,00. After first coffee, we gather to discuss about all details for once, about role of every members of team.We have full filled programme.Schedule is following:
- Business meeting between delegation from Kraljevo Region and Valjevo Region on 11,00
- Financial conference "How to finance development of SME s" by participation of representatives: Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency, Agency for development MEs, Guaraantee Fund, Serbian Chamber of commerce,Ministery of economy and banks: Exim, Pro credit, National Bank saving bank, Vojvodjanska bank and USAID-IRD.
We expect great number of participants.Before meeting, we check maretials, informations,printed identified cards,..My task is to organise and control the second meeting, that takes place in hall of Music school. Companies are specially interested in financing, how to establish on economy entity, new tax regulations, terms of crediting, condition in business and achievement, the measures of economy policy that Government intend to accept.With coallegues hurried to schooll, at 12,00. The guests slowly come, also and companies.We strive to ensure all lecturies, but also and copmanies, because it is really good occasion to put a questions and hear new things.The audience listened to the leactures with great interests, only mobiles of some forgetful owners broke work.I feel there is everything okay.The leacturing and presentations is in sessions from 13,00 to 14,30.I think companies are satisfied.All participant, some over 90 persons, went away to visite Faire.
I am so glad the things are passed quite well. So, I think that the next year it would good for me to enjoy in trip with my family and friends.
